Meet The Team

Emily Sun has been dancing for over 12 years and has many years of teaching experience. She has participated with her dance team in various competitions across North America and achieved excellent results. Her crew were a part of NBC World of Dance Season 2 and 4. She is also  varsity silver medalist & jr gold medalist in Hip Hop International. Emily has also appeared on Canada's got talent and received the Golden Buzzer.

​​With her impressive experiences, Emily looks after our competition division Hip Hop classes.

Jessie has been dancing since 2012. Jessie first started competitive dance when she joined a talent show hosted by Fairchild Radio called Little Sunshine in 2015, where she won Little Miss Sunshine Girl Champion and Best Talent Award. Then she continued to work hard to compete in various competitions including World of Dance season 4, World Hip Hop International, etc. and achieved excellent results.

Jessie’s most notable competition was when she competed in Canada Got Talent where she was that year’s finalist and also received Lily’s Golden Buzzer. Jessie also has extensive experience in dance teaching. Her passion in dance has inspired her to spread the knowledge and joy to the younger generation.

Jessie works with both children and adult, and leads our adult hip hop program from beginner to intermediate advanced levels.

Ms. Iris has over ten years of experience teaching children and youth. She specializes in Chinese dance, classical dance, ethnic dance, and foundation technique training. She also has experience teaching ballet, helping students develop proper posture and musicality.

Iris has taught at various dance schools, leading beginner training, flexibility development, choreography, and competition routines.

​

Her teaching style is patient and detail-oriented, and she is well-recognized by both students and parents. 

​

She holds an intermediate dance teaching qualification and certification from the China Dancer Association, demonstrating her strong professional background. 

Vivien has a Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts in Dance from Simon Fraser University, she comes with wealth of knowledge in dance education, choreography and stage performance. 

​

Vivien is experienced with Classical Chinese Dance, Ethnical Chinese Dance, Contemporary Dance, Ballet, Hip Hop, K-Pop and Swing. She dedicates her teaching in building strong foundations, confidence, and musicality in her students.

​

As a choreographer, Vivien has choreographed as well as performed in leading roles in many award winning pieces. Her work includes "The Legend of the Nine-Coloured Deer", "Ellipses", "Let", and more. She believes every student have unique artistic potentials, through professional guidance and patience, everyone can find joy in the journey of dance. 

Vickie is a fun and energetic instructor for Jazz funk, K-pop and Hip-Hop Foundations. She has experience performing with several Vancouver-based international Hip-Hop competition teams, including GreyV Juniors and TwoFourSeven Company, and has represented Canada at competitions including Vibe, Hit the Floor Quebec, and the Release.

In her class, Vickie focuses on building strong foundations through grooves, basic techniques, and floor work. She teaches step by step, helping students develop coordination, confidence, and performance skills in a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

Samantha Ng is an experienced K-pop dance instructor with background in teaching children and young adults at the Arts Conservatory and West Richmond Community Centre. Samantha brings an engaging approach to her classes, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for all students.

She is an avid K-Pop cover dancer, and leads many projects for popular songs like "Badvillian" "Batter Up" and more. 

Carol is our PBT and private foundations instructor, assisting students with core skills that help them be successful in all style of dance. Carol also works with students on advancing their acrobatic and tumbling skills outside of regular Acrobatic Arts class.

Carol comes from a background of Chinese Dance and Ballroom Dancesport. She has competed in the Amateur division within Canada as well as the United States.

​

​Carol is also a PBT certified teacher, but utilizes multiple schools of practice in her foundation training.

​

She enjoys Jazz and K-pop in her spare time, and love to see her students grow and advance. 

Mandy is our very loved studio coordinator who looks after everything from scheduling to competition booking and costume orders. She is also a passionate dancer and loves traditional style Chinese Dance the most.

Donut is our beloved studio assistant and has had years of assisting experience working with our dancers as long as 3 years old.

​

Donut is a great listener, and is very patient with everyone. She enjoys watching our dancers grow and always greets them with logs of tail wags and happy dances. YES she's a great dancer herself.

In her spare time donut enjoys cuddles and naps.
