Chinese Dance due to it being based heavily on culture and history, has strong requirements for stage costume and make up. This blog we hope to suggest some tried and true products that are good to have before any competition season. Click on the photo for purchase link if available.

Skin Prep 妆前打底

Make sure the skin is adequately moisturized before applying make up to minimize flaking and patching

Use any daily moisturizer or spray available at home

We use cream base to lock in hydration and primer to even out the skin texture so make up can grab on easier.

化妆之前确保皮肤做好保湿工作，以避免结块，起皮，持妆短等问题

日常使用的保湿乳液或者喷雾均可

妆前乳主要功能为保湿锁水，隔离霜可以让皮肤更平滑，让底妆服帖。

Foundation 底妆

This is the most important step, clean foundation will make sure the actual make up show up on stage nice and saturated. We suggest Concealer - Liquid Foundation - Powder setting for older kids, skip the Concealer for younger dancers.

Any foundation products will work, if you have none at home, please visit your nearest drug store and try on for the dancer. The foundation should be as light as possible in color choice.

底妆是化妆最重要的一步，好的底妆可以让彩妆的色彩更明艳。大龄的演员可以使用遮瑕膏，粉底液，粉饼。低年龄演员可以跳过遮瑕。

任何品牌皆可，如果家里没有可以去任意超市试用购买，底妆建议越白越好。

Sheglam Linen Color Foundation and Powder

Eye Shadow 眼妆

This is where most of the color go. Our tried and true color pallet is NYX I Know That's Bright. It has all the colors and will last many years.

Eye brow must also be colored in, any brow pencil will work.

眼妆的颜色最鲜艳，眼影盘强烈推荐NYX彩色眼影盘，常用色都包含在里面，一盘用几年不是问题。

眉毛必须画，任意深色眉笔皆可。

Eyeliner and False Lash 眼线和假睫毛

For competition thick eyeliner and false lash is REQUIRED. Liquid eyeliner with brush tip and NOT FELT TIP will create much better lines.

Use False Lash that are one strip instead of small clumps.

For lash glues, go for something with an application stick instead of a squeeze bottle tip.

比赛班必须画粗眼线，贴假睫毛。

眼线笔建议购买液体笔刷头而不非毛毡笔头。

假睫毛需使用一整条而不是一簇一簇粘贴。

睫毛胶要买带棒的不是挤压的瓶子。

Blush 腮红

Blush pallet with multiple colors is best.

腮红没有品牌上的限制但是建议购买多色拼盘。

Contour 修容

Contour is important for the nose bridge, as well as under brow and lip. A pallet that has both a cold tone shadow and highlight is good from any store.

舞台妆修容主要集中在眉骨下面，鼻头和鼻梁，以及嘴唇下方。一定要购买冷色调修容，避开红调棕色。

Lipstick 唇膏

Lipstick in RED is good for most situations, please NO GLOSS, use solid stick.

正红色唇膏可以满足大多数比赛需求，避开液体唇彩唇釉，只使用固体唇膏。

Setting 定妆

Use a setting powder to make sure your makeup lasts all day long.

妆画完使用定妆喷雾维持。

Other

Before comp season make sure you have at least a good bottle of Eye Make Up Remover, as most cleanser will not be able to remove eye make up. remover should be two layered with an oil layer and a water layer, shake to mix before use.

Pearl and Rhinestone stickers are good to have as well.

每赛季之前确保家里有水油分层类的眼妆卸妆产品，大多数洁面产品无法卸舞台眼妆。
